Clean up cleaning up the web

How long does it take before you give up on a website because of bad design or poor navigation? The answer will probably depend on the website in question, but for ecommerce stores, where there is no lack of competition waiting to take your order, the limit of most peoples' patience is, I suspect, not long.
Well, now there is an incentive to hang around, at least long enough to refer the website to a new service that promises to pay you for your trouble. blipt.com is a new service launched from Boxed Search Services that provides an incentive to report badly designed websites or under utilised domain names by paying you for the referral, kind of like a finders fee.
You can install Google and Firefox toolbar buttons that make the referral as simple as possible. Add your email address when you refer a website and leave the rest to blipt.com. They'll contact the site in question with an offer to fix the problem - for a charge, of course - and you'll be given some of the money if they're successful.
For more information, see the blipt.com website.
