au Domain Name Trading Bulletin

Back in April I wrote an article about domain parking and domain name trading. Since then, auDA has changed the rules and it is now possible to sell your .au domain name openly. I thought it was time to review what the changes have meant.
New .au markets
With auDA's planned changes it was inevitable that some people would grab the opportunity to create the title of 'number one Australian domain name aftermarket'. Interestingly, most of the 3 or 4 big players in the market appear to make the same claim, but making unsubstantiated, ambiguous claims seems to be generally acceptable in Australia, so that's nothing new!
The current big names in this market include Netfleet.com.au, Nameseek.com.au, DomainTradingPost.com.au (surely an impending legal action with that one?), and DomainShed.com.au (itself now up for sale).
